This Custom Message in a bottle was created with using a 10inch glass bottle, sand and seashells from St Augustine Beach Florida, amethyst crystals, clear quartz crystals, driftwood, beach sponge and blue encaustic wax to hold the beach scene in place. The beach rope is tied to top of bottle cap, so the loving message comes right out.
Encaustic artwork is made by melting beeswax to a liquid, adding pigments, and using it as paint. This art medium dates to the Egyptian era. When the encaustic wax cools it will harden and encase most of the sand and shells in the seascape scene.
Each glass seascape will be one of a kind and cannot be replicated. The one you receive will not be identical to the ones shown in the photos as each scene is different as no seashell is ever the same.
