This Seascape Encaustic Pointillism Painting “I can be Someone” was created on a 22x11x.5 artist wood hard board. This painting was created by layering individual dots of encaustic wax then adding sand and shells to the bottom of the artwork. The sides of this artwork have been painted with white acrylic paint and comes with steel hanger on back, ready to be hung on the wall. Encaustic artwork is made by melting beeswax to a liquid, adding pigments, and using it as paint. This art medium dates to the Egyptian era. When it cools/hardens the artwork has so much texture and life.
