This set of encaustic beach ornaments were created using sand and shells from St. Augustine Beach Florida, encaustic wax, plastic globe ornaments, 3inch silver metal hooks, and decorative tree.
Each set of handmade encaustic coastal Christmas ornaments will be one of a kind and cannot be replicated. The ornaments you receive will not be identical to the ones shown in the photos as each scene is different as no seashell is ever the same.

Encaustic artwork is made by melting beeswax to a liquid, adding pigments, and using it as paint. This art medium dates to the Egyptian era. When it cools/hardens the artwork has so much texture and life.
